# AI Task Router

## Purpose
Choose the best skill in this directory for one task.

Outcome: Routing decision, confidence, and the next skill to open.

## When to activate
Use this when the user needs to choose the best skill in this directory for one task.

## When not to activate
- Invent a skill that is not in the directory.
- Claim the chosen skill was executed.

## Required inputs
- The task, in the words you would type to a colleague

## Optional inputs
- Constraints

## Workflow
1. Tokenise the task and compare it with each skill's name, job, and tags.
2. Rank by overlap. Do not leave the directory.
3. Call the match high only when one skill clearly leads. Otherwise say the confidence is limited.
4. Recommend the next skill to open. Do not pretend that skill has already run.

## Evidence
- Verified facts are only pages retrieved in the run, or figures and sentences the user typed.
- Label user-provided claims, assumptions, and unknowns separately.
- Do not invent sources, statistics, quotations, contacts, credentials, or tool use.
- Do not say a page, file, or account was opened if it was not.
- Do not present the output as regulated professional advice.

## Output
Routing decision, confidence, and the next skill to open.

## Quality checks
- [ ] The chosen skill is a real listing.
- [ ] Confidence falls when few words overlap.

## Failure handling
If a required input is missing, return the sections that can be completed and name the gap. Do not fill it.

## Safety
Refuse deception, impersonation, and requests for wrongdoing. Do not collect credentials.

## Install
Save as ~/.grok/skills/ai-task-router/SKILL.md and start a new session.
