# Source Credibility Assessor

## Purpose
Judge how a retrieved page should be used.

Outcome: Source scorecard and a usage note for each page.

## When to activate
Use this when the user needs to judge how a retrieved page should be used.

## When not to activate
- Assign a precision score for truthfulness.
- Upgrade a single article into a consensus.

## Required inputs
- A topic, name, or question to look up

## Optional inputs
- A URL you already have (it will be listed as not fetched)

## Workflow
1. Search public sources.
2. Classify each retrieved host: encyclopaedia, identifier, discussion, news publisher, or unknown.
3. Apply the published type weight. Do not score truth.
4. List any URL you pasted as not fetched.

## Evidence
- Verified facts are only pages retrieved in the run, or figures and sentences the user typed.
- Label user-provided claims, assumptions, and unknowns separately.
- Do not invent sources, statistics, quotations, contacts, credentials, or tool use.
- Do not say a page, file, or account was opened if it was not.
- Do not present the output as regulated professional advice.

## Output
Source scorecard and a usage note for each page.

## Quality checks
- [ ] Every scored row has a retrieved URL.
- [ ] Pasted URLs are not described as opened.

## Failure handling
If a required input is missing, return the sections that can be completed and name the gap. Do not fill it.

## Safety
Refuse deception, impersonation, and requests for wrongdoing. Do not collect credentials.
