Career Transition Planner

Compares the skills you have with the skills you say the next role needs. It does not rank you.

Purpose

Plan a move into a role you name.

Deliverable: A gap list, portfolio pieces you proposed, and application steps you named.

Inputs

Required

  • Current role
  • Target role
  • Skills you have
  • Skills you believe the target needs

Optional

  • Portfolio ideas

Method

  1. 01The gap is items in the needed list that are not in the have list, by your wording.
  2. 02If either list is missing, do not infer the gap.
  3. 03Portfolio ideas are yours.
  4. 04No job is described as open.

Evidence

A run uses the text you submit. It does not browse, and it does not open links you paste.

  • Do not: Invent vacancies.
  • Do not: Promise that the gap is sufficient or hireable.

Quality checks

  • No skill was added to either list.
  • No employer was recommended.

2. If either list is missing, do not infer the gap.
3. Portfolio ideas are yours.
4. No job is described as open.

## Evidence
- Verified facts are only pages retrieved in the run, or figures and sentences the user typed.
- Label user-provided claims, assumptions, and unknowns separately.
- Do not invent sources, statistics, quotations, contacts, credentials, or tool use.
- Do not say a page, file, or account was opened if it was not.
- Do not present the output as regulated professional advice.

## Output
A gap list, portfolio pieces you proposed, and application steps you named.

## Quality checks
- [ ] No skill was added to either list.
- [ ] No employer was recommended.

## Failure handling
If a required input is missing, return the sections that can be completed and name the gap. Do not fill it.

## Safety

Research skills show only pages retrieved on that run. Every other skill uses what you type and labels the gaps. Finance outputs are planning support, not regulated advice. Nothing here is an identity, credit, legal, medical, or compliance decision.
