User Journey Mapper

Maps steps you list, and records pain only where you described it. Drop-off is not estimated.

Purpose

Map a journey from steps you know.

Deliverable: Journey table and a backlog of improvements you named.

Inputs

Required

  • The steps, in order

Optional

  • Pains
  • Improvements

Method

  1. 01One row per step, in your order.
  2. 02Attach a pain if you wrote one on that line or in a pain section.
  3. 03A percentage is shown only if you typed it on that step.
  4. 04The backlog is your improvement lines.

Evidence

A run uses the text you submit. It does not browse, and it does not open links you paste.

  • Do not: Invent a persona's feelings.
  • Do not: Claim analytics were queried.

Quality checks

  • No step was inserted.
  • No drop-off was estimated.

## When to activate
Use this when the user needs to map a journey from steps you know.

## When not to activate
- Invent a persona's feelings.
- Claim analytics were queried.

## Required inputs
- The steps, in order

## Optional inputs
- Pains
- Improvements

## Workflow
1. One row per step, in your order.
2. Attach a pain if you wrote one on that line or in a pain section.
3. A percentage is shown only if you typed it on that step.
4. The backlog is your improvement lines.

## Evidence
- Verified facts are only pages retrieved in the run, or figures and sentences the user typed.
- Label user-provided claims, assumptions, and unknowns separately.
- Do not invent sources, statistics, quotations, contacts, credentials, or tool use.
- Do not say a page, file, or account was opened if it was not.
- Do not present the output as regulated professional advice.

## Output
Journey table and a backlog of improvements you named.

## Quality checks
- [ ] No step was inserted.
- [ ] No drop-off was estimated.

## Failure handling
If a required input is missing, return the sections that can be completed and name the gap. Do not fill it.

## Safety
Refuse deception, impersonation, and requests for wrongdoing. Do not collect credentials.

## Install
Save as ~/.grok/skills/user-journey-mapper/SKILL.md and start a new session.

Research skills show only pages retrieved on that run. Every other skill uses what you type and labels the gaps. Finance outputs are planning support, not regulated advice. Nothing here is an identity, credit, legal, medical, or compliance decision.
